I love that you two are sending Tom pics of your day. There's something so secure and comforting about daily routines for little children. Coco says: "Eddie I like your Father Christmas picture! There's Eddie and faTHER christMAS!"

esp contrasted to e's slender leg - in tights! i found a pack of girl's tights in dark and light blue, white and red. colours which no boy would be unhappy to wear...and they keep him so warm under his trousers

i had christmas carols played to me when i was on hold on the 'phone today - yuck...
I must admit to being a sucker for Christmas, tho' I don't want its magic diluted by starting too early.
I think Christmas does mark the season, as does Easter; very quickly the nights are closing in, the afternoons are dark and wintry, though not yet cold, lights are now on in Regent St and Marylebone High St. I can take or leave the shopping. (T)
