Visiting our old neighbours (A)

in 4h

Simple things (A)

like Stella looking down to see where it went, when she knocks down the sippy cup she's been playing with from her high chair (WOW! did u see that?! i have never seen her do that before!!), like her moving an object from one hand to the other when we are dressing her - so her arms can go into the sleeves (SO Clever)...etc etc. she will still tho, when tired, and i am changing her ready for bed, put her head to the side wanting milk, when the source of it is clearly doing something else.....still a little one

4 nights away in Ickworth (A)

Ickworth is a country house in Suffolk, just outside of Bury St Edmunds.

I love that pic of Reuben lifting his arms to be carried by Tom. Can you see the cold sheep behind Eddie? In the footprints pic we are looking for the fox ones (we saw him running into the hedge) amongst the deer footprints!!!

We drove a hire car to Ickworth (it took 6 hours rather than 2 because of the snow!!). We visited the town, Bury St Edmunds, which has ruins and a Cathedral.

Cosy nights in our rooms watching Raymond Briggs', 'The Snowman'.

A few recent events (A)

Taking the kids to dinner (on my own!!)

Stella enjoys a toy originally made for me as a child, by my Oma

Dental checks...

Reuben refused to be seen!

Nursery class invited parents in to see their work...

Do you recognise baby Seb? (photo was taken in Port Macquarie, on the board walk)...beautiful boy

The Middleton's dog - very cute, but upsetting to Roo (and mum!) .... relegated to the outdoors for her short stay

This final pic makes me laugh as it shows Reuben's method of getting down from Ed's bed. It also features our 'baby lion' Seb, and bed time routine on our nearly new bean bag.
