If you look closely at the picture you can see, next to ravenous Reuben, a tiny Eddie. Waitrose stores give to charities and worthy causes every month. Customers get a green token when they shop and can choose which charity to support. This month Eddie's school is in the competition (coming second so far!!)...and they are using photos from their website, which include this one of Eddie!!!!!
Obviously I have been shopping at Waitrose daily to accrue green tokens....it is a great system though, because they divide £1000 between the 3 causes, proportionately to the numbers of tokens given....so each group always gets something. Phew!

I'd always thought it was the winner that took all, so pleased to hear it it divided according to number of tokens. Sometimes they are stupid charities I'm not interested in!
