Suddenly, Eddie is at school. We got a place at a local montessori school for the remainder of this term (finishes end of July). Just for 2 hours after lunch each day. Two days in, and he's doing fine. A little vague about the days activities, he confirmed today "no singing (they don't sing there)", and "no games (there are too many tables)". They did however 'wash up' and yesterday did some painting.
When he first went last week, with Anita, just to check out the school, while the class was on, Eddie joined in on the painting. He told me later "the friends gave me an apron to keep my t-shirt clean".

He certainly looks very happy with this friend. You loved your nursery school, in Cambridge. Same age. You had a v good friend called Jeremy.
his friend is tilly - dom and dale's daughter
Yes, the 'friends' in the quote from Eddie were just his name for the other children, who he doesn't know - for various reasonns his longer term friends are at other nursery schools.
actually tom - eddie's friends gracie, brian, miles and gil (friends from his babyhood, all of whom were invited to his 3rd b'day party) all go to this particular nursey....
but that doesn't explain why i am communicating to you via the comments page of our blog
