There is a lot more in this journal. You will have to ask to see it next time you see Eddie.

I had to put 2 pix of the 'falling' journal entry to capture the face of the figure falling, and the depth he fell. Isn't it brilliant.

Tom says Eddie was in great form the whole trip. So proud of him and SO happy they could do this trip.

The 2 people on the little hill (when he arrives in Africa) are Eddie and William (Stephanie's 5 year old)...they all went on safari together. Margaret and Ross Hall were there too. In fact Eddie lost his first tooth (it was v wobbly when he left London) whilst being read a bed-time story by Margaret. There is a journal entry about that too.

...i think, upon a closer look the little hill they are standing on is actually a tree?? i shall ask ed. also, has everyone noticed the 'happy line' in the final pic? all his own illustrations -fascinating....apparently he added a litte extra to the happy line, after another good day had passed.....you can see it just, in the pic

I love it! Can't wait to see it. His drawings are incredible, and his sentences. I love the picture of the plane trip that was fun in the middle and 'skery' at the begging and end. Superb.

Hello Eddie what a lovely trip report you have given in your journal and such great pictures to go with the report. Some of the animals look a bit scary, like the Lions. It is good you and Dad are back safely. Love Opa and Oma XX
