I just put the boys just down for their night sleep. I told them they could lie in bed and think about trains or buses, or riding their bikes today, or bob the builder. Eddie thought for a moment (lights were out, I was just closing the door).
"Dad" he said, "I'm going to think about dinosaurs eating people in their houses."
"OK, Good night, Love you", I said.
"Love you....hope you have a good sleep" he said

Today, I am sitting on the hardwood floor, in our lounge room. My body
feels pretty normal. My neck aches a little, my tummy is full of dinner,
my mouth...

chilling!
dear little Eddie - he's so very creative - was he the dinosaur or the people in the house? Coco and Eddie and I are all similar, methinks, in being very creative - it can be scary - was Eddie scared? Or matter-of-fact? When I'm puttingthe girls to bed, Coco is often genuinely scared of lions and bears lurking in the dark corners and jumping out to eat her up. And monsters.
It doesn't sound as tho' he's scared, but could he be a little scared that they'll come and eat him??
He seems fairly confident that it's possible to "have a good sleep" even with thoughts of dinosaurs eating people...!
Hope you're all surviving well and that Anita is enjoying her week in Perth.
Indeed, he was entirely matter-of-fact, as if he has proposed picking flowers, or a trip on a train. /T
