At hospital and now home safely (T)

Here's Eddie looking out the window at the BT tower from University College Hostpital, where Anita has spent the last 4 nights. Thank God, she has returned home safely to complete a course of antibiotics that will continue to treat the infection that has kept her there for this time.

we've pretty much confirmed it is a chest infection...there were no obvious symptoms of this whilst i was in hosp - besides pain in the area - no coughing, wheeze, etc. but since coming home there is a crackle when i breathe deeply.

the house is full of flowers and chocolates and we've had people come to take eddie off for for a few hours already, to give me time to relax

tom has been an amazing full-time dad (esp as he never quite stopped working), he and eddie have bonded even more, and t manages to get e to do things without protest that i never quite managed....so i am v happy....esp as one of these things is changing pooey nappies without a struggle

I'm also very glad to hear you're home, Anita, and that you and bump are OK. We have been praying for you - and will continue to do so.

All a great relief, especially to be more sure of what it was. There is a Jones gene controlling fussing over poohy nappies - ( in my little boys)but I never thought to get David onto it.

i could never get Stephen to cooperate with having his nappy changed! he would kind of arch his bag and make loud noises! is that what eddie does? coco and eowyn i kind of learned to do nappy changes in a standing up position, because they were always on the run. But now they are both potty trained, except for overnight!!!! there IS an end to nappies anita and tom, even though it might right now seem a very long way off!! and bump's breast milk poos will smell lovely, won't they?
