Spring days in central London
Fantastic outdoor stained glass windows, with REAL sun shining through them! It's Spring!
Even though Eddie's a boy he appreciates a good ribbon shop when we come across one.
This one, V.V.Rouleux, is on Marylebone High st, 5 mins from us, and is so fancy that we were asked not to take photos...luckily I had already shot this one.
The swing shots were taken in Paddington Gardens, 2 mins from us, even closer to us than Regents Park. I usually bump into a mum or dad I know when we go to the playground there. Even seen the odd glamorous ('Desperate Housewives') type there too.
As you can see from the first swing shot, Eddie sometimes seems more interested in the shadows, or the mechanics of the swing than the experience itself. I love the slide one, where he seems to be thinking...what am I supposed to do here?
To carry on a theme from other blogs we know and love... blossoms! We have blossoms here in London too... here's Eddie looking slighty bored by them. Eddie is currently reading the book 'Peace Child' (sometimes with his mouth).
Home again, going up the lift with mummy...

lovely little Eddie. It has been such lovely weather these past few days - springtime. Unfortunately as I write it is overcast though.
now it is totally blue skies - 10 minutes later!
exactly.
see on sunday at 4pm for more TENNIS
Eowyn and Coco played on those swings and that slide, Eddie, when you were just born!! I just love the feeling of geographical connection between you-now and us-then!
Springtime in London looks beautiful, and I love Eddie's wistful look. We play tennis at 4 on Sundays too. Victor played today for the very first time ever, and was brilliant. Fortunately we could get a few points against him when he served. He will soon have to have the horrid wooden racquet.
well, it ended up raining half way thru our tennis playing yesterday afternoon.
eddie, becca and i went into the cafeteria and talked about her new job, whilst the boys soldiered on in the rain
We've had rain once or twice - even in sunny Oz
I'm so glad you're plaing tennis too. It's a nice connection, somehow.
I'm so enjoying getting to know Eddie via all the photos and videos. There's enough to really see his personality coming through - the big smiles, the pensive looks, the interest in details and patterns (which has been there since Clapham Rectory days).
