We had a good time on holidays while Eddie was away, honest (A)

Ok, so sometimes there was a bit too much sun!






And climbing stairs can be hard work!








We did get to see some exotic animals too....even if it was sometimes from behind...!



Pond dipping at London Wetlands...mum graciously caught pond snails for us.





Again, a bit much sun.



And then sometimes not quite enough!!




But nice food and relaxing activities to come home to!

Somehow the bowler's head and arm got bitten off. And I think I know by whom.



Six Victoria sponge cakes for a six year old - they were very small, and I did NOT have to make them.....except for the green grass.




For some reason I was wearing a lai lai round my neck.

Saying goodbye to Kathryn on the Heathrow Express on the morning of the Royal Wedding. Thank you for visiting us for 10 wonderful days! Eddie enjoyed having his old joke with you Kathryn: 'Am I your godmother?' 'No'. He asked me to write this.

We miss you. Eddie has a wobbly tooth is this photo - his first ever!

I go downstairs to make them toast....(A)

and return to discover Stella has eaten a postage stamp that fell off my desk... it was first class no less!

Reminds me of a family story, when my brother David was little and he was helping lick the stamps for Aunty Ruby in the office, and he swallowed one! It also happened to be one of the more expensive ones, right? Wasn't it one for overseas?






We are having a lazy, relaxed Saturday morning....Tom in bed, all 4 kids in lounge, watching Bob the builder and eating sticky bits of paper.

Megan and Coco, who are here for 12 days are spending the weekend at Sam and Becca's...looking forward to having them ALL here for the night of the 31st march!!
